TBWA\ SANTIAGO MANGADA PUNO
WINS AGAIN

     A rarity in the history of Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies (4As) Philippines Agency of the Year Awards, TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno took home the coveted award and title of Agency of the Year for the fourth time.

     TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno first won the plate back in 2003, and retained the title until 2005.

AGENCY OF THE YEAR AGAIN. TBWA\SMP led by its Managing Partners Jimmy Santiago, Melvin Mangada and Tong Puno take the spotlight as they win the highly-coveted Agency of the Year Award for the 4th time in the agency's 10 year history. The Disruption agency marked its impressive win by being the only agency to make it as a finalist in all categories.

     The award was given out during the Agency of the Year Awards show held on September 16, 2011 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. In attendance were advertising and industry leaders from around the Philippines.

     Managing partner, Jimmy Santiago is ecstatic over the win, "We are reunited with the title. It's a credit to the people who did better in 2010."

     Fellow managing partner Tong Puno says, "Winning the coveted Agency of the Year for the fourth time is truly amazing. I look at it as an exciting pay-off for the hard work and the great results that we created the whole year long."

     Both Puno and Santiago also credit the win to their clients, such as Boysen, KFC, ALASKA, Manila Design Week, Cinemanila, and Shangri-La, who were generous with their brands' success stories.

     Being named Agency of the Year 2010 promises even better things to follow. "It makes the young people competitively excited, and creatives more competitive. It inspires people to excel, not just individually but as a group," says Santiago, "We also hope clients also take notice, it's good for business and makes it easier to win them."

     The 4-As' Agency of the Year Awards is considered the most important award in the Philippine advertising industry, known for bringing instant client appeal. It is also the only local industry award that honors the best in creative, media, business, and production.
