MANILA, PHILIPPINES — TBWA\SMP Chief Marketing Officer has officially joined the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As) Board of Trustees for 2026-2027. The announcement was made following a board election held at the organization’s recent General Membership Meeting (GMM) at The Peninsula Manila.

On the role, Broma shared that, “It is an honor to serve the 4As and the broader creative community.” In his candidacy, Broma recognized how AI automation and new creative systems are transforming  how agencies and brands operate, as well as redefining how creativity shapes culture. “The 4A’s needs leaders who not only understand this transformation, but can help shape it.”

Among the leaders joining Broma on the Board are a number of industry notables, including Ronald Barreiro (Dentsu Creative Philippines), Ricky Gonzales (Over The Moon), Martin De Guzman (Elevation), Karen Go (BBDO Guerrero), Henson Wongaiham (Ad Hoc Marketing), Janlo Cui (Havas Ortega), Mike Garcia (Ogilvy), and Mitzie Nacianceno (McCann Worldgroup).

The election coincided with the organization’s renewed focus on client-agency trust in an era of shifting algorithms and fragmented media; as stated by 4As Chairman Melvin Mangada and President Teeny Gonzales at the GMM, “Trust” has emerged as the industry’s most vital currency.

No stranger to the challenges facing the modern industry, Broma brings his extensive client service background to the position, in addition to leadership of TBWA\SMP’s award-winning marketing and PR efforts. Having most recently led TBWA\SMP to being named Digital Innovation Agency of the Year at the recent Campaign Asia AOY, Broma is uniquely qualified to help bridge the gap between creative excellence, digital, and business growth.

“Leading innovation at TBWA has taught me that the best way to predict the future is to build it,” says Broma. “And I’m eager to bring that same energy to the Association.”
