Agency of the Year winner continues its evolution cycle

MANILA The revelries kept coming for TBWA\SMP as the Disruption Agency commemorated their 4A AOY accolades (9 wins in the award’s 23 years) with a number of internal promotions.

From the Agency’s digital production arm, Therese Valmonte’s ability to effortlessly fuse insight and creativity with technical know-how were rewarded with a promotion to UX Manager. At the same time, a relatively new addition to the Agency, Tommy Halili, was named Account Director for the energy and tenacity he applies to his work.

The client-servicing promotions continued with Janina Mendoza and Paulie DeLuna being appointed Business Unit Directors for their respective ability to manage client deliverables and business requirements with equal aplomb. The final promotion for the night was also the biggest as Noelle Segundo was elevated to the rank of Client Service Director in recognition for her tireless work ethic and dedication to achieving the best results across all her brands.

As key drivers of TBWA’s initiative to evolve itself while navigating a course for its clients in unprecedented times, the freshly-promoted members of the collective are –not-coincidentally– in charge of some of the Agency’s largest brands, including Del Monte, JTI, Spotify, Alaska, and McDonald’s.

“As someone who’s watched their journeys over the years, it’s nothing short of incredible to see how much they’ve grown in their time with us,” says Managing Director Portia Catuira. “Speaking for myself, and on behalf of Melvin (Mangada), and Jimmy (Santiago), I can honestly say we’re beyond thrilled to see where their careers go from here.”
