Managing Director Portia Catuira accepts two Silver metals at the 2017 Tangrams Effectiveness at Spikes Awards.

SINGAPORE The Tangrams Effectiveness Awards capped off the first day of the 2017 Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity and TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno won not one, but two Silver Tangrams for its multi-awarded “Correcting History” campaign for the Citizens Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang (CARMMA).

Known for its method of Disruption, TBWA\SMP is the only agency that won Silver Tangrams out of the five Philippine-based agencies that were awarded that night. The winning campaign that is responsible for the Philippine government’s decision to make a curriculum change that reflects the corruption and human rights atrocities during the Marcos Martial Law raked in a Silver metal for Insights/Strategic Thinking under the Effectiveness category, and another Silver for Video under the Digital Strategy category.

The Tangrams Effectiveness Awards honors clients and agencies for marketing strategies that deliver transformative business results.
