At the height of the 2016 Presidential Elections, Former President Ferdinand Marcos’ son was favored to take the Vice Presidency. In partnership with Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang (CARMMA), we created a video in hopes of educating millennials, the biggest voting block in the country, about the plight of the Martial Law victims. Not only did the video move the youth voters to change their views and opinions on the corruption and human rights abuses that happened, but also the Department of Education announced a new curriculum that would reflect the atrocities of Martial Law.
