MAKATI Last week, TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno ushered in the holidays with their Christmas Party, themed Dancing with the Stars. The event was also notable as the Manila-based agency took time to recognize the hardwork and talent of the Disruptors by promoting seven employees – five from Accounts, one from Creatives, and one from Finance.
Business Unit Director Paolo Broma, who had most recently been named Campaign Asia’s runner up for Southeast Asian Accounts Person of the Year, was promoted to Client Service Director. Kathy Cosico also made her way to a hard-earned position as Client Service Director, with nine years of experience and dedication to the agency, including note-worthy works like the Water Billboard under her belt.
A former Group Account Director at Harrison Communications, Noelle Segundo has both worked and played hard during her on-going stint at TBWA\SMP. Just after three years as one of the agency’s Account Directors, she is now promoted to Business Unit Director. With hardwork and dedication, Katya Gozo also climbed up the ranks to Business Unit Director after shifting careers 11 years ago and began working as an Account Executive for Tequila.
Following her propmotion to Account Supervisor earlier this year, Miele Dungo moves up again and takes the role of Account Director. Known both for her efficiency and passion for championing important causes, causes she was a driving force behind he award-winning Correcting History.
Ace Broadcast Editor Vince Belen also received a well-deserved promotion to Associate Creative Director for Multimedia after working on the agency’s many viral films such as Life Under the Bridge and Hugot.
Rey Meran has been handling the company’s finances for the past five years, and was just promoted to Senior Finance Manager.
