SINGAPORE TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno kicked off the 2018 Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity with a Bronze in Small Budget Marketing Campaign for its viral video ‘Amoy Chicks’ for Philippine clothing and lifestyle brand Bench at the Tangram Effectiveness Awards. The winning didn’t end there for the Manila-based Disruption team. At the last day of the Festival, TBWA\SMP bagged six metals at the Spikes Asia Awards 2018, including two Golds (Film Craft and Music), two Silvers (Digital and Outdoor), and two Bronzes (Digital and Design), while client McDonald’s won Advertiser of the Year.

 

Big winner campaign ‘Disgusting Stories’ for Bahay Tuluyan was given a Gold for Film Craft, a Gold for Music, and a Silver for Digital at the Spikes Asia Awards 2018. The campaign to stop child abuse has won the hearts of many netizens all over the world for its shocking content, especially after Facebook’s attempt to silence the stories of those who have fell victim for this unspeakable crime.

 

TBWA\SMP’s campaign ‘Love Thy Neighbor’ for Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas was awarded a Bronze in Digital shows the story of heroism and brotherhood that happened during the Marawi Siege last year. Its heartwarming message that happened despite of all the chaos has been a bagging metals in both local and international award shows like Kidlat and AD STARS.

 

Environmentally impactful campaign ‘This is a Tree’ for Boysen Philippines claimed a Silver nod in the Outdoor category, and a Bronze in Design. The mural consists of various animate and inanimate objects painted within squares using Boysen’s KNOxOUT technology, which acts like a tree and helps eliminate pollution.
