Bench’s heartwarming short film “Amoy Kita” tells a message of unconditional love between a son and a father. It follows a young man trying to get the attention of his crush all the while avoiding the topic of his sexuality. The film later shows that despite the difficulty behind coming out, the father has always known and accepted whom his son really is. The film garnered over three million views in 24 hours, as well as praises and positive reactions from Filipinos and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
