Due to a conservative upbringing, children are being discouraged to express themselves outside of gender norms. Bench wanted to focus on the secret rite of passage of dressing-up, to spark conversations on creativity at a young age. 

They launched Curtain Couture, a film that started a nationwide cultural movement that uncovered the importance of self-expression.
